Magnus Sollenberg - Stockholm, Sweden Oldest Swift Ever?? This is actually not a Swift (as I am sure you can see for yourself) but powered by a Swift engine. The engine is a 1.3L DOHC turbocharged GTi engine, 170 hp (I need more!) but it still does 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds due to its low weight. The gearbox is acually an old fourspeedbox frpm a Mazda 323 the rear axle comes from a Ford Cortina GT 1966, everything else is hand build by the first owner. The engine was build from spare parts from a boat project. The speedboat is powered by a similar 1,3 turbocharged engine but with 250-300 hp. Have never seen the boat though...
